The Student Call Centre provides a telephonic and electronic service on student related enquiries.

How is our service?

Applications - How do I upload the required supporting documentation for my application to be complete?

All required documents must be uploaded via the student self-service portal @ https://self-service.wits.ac.za

Student ID is your person/student number; Password is your birthdate in the format ‘YYMMDD.
Student ID: Student Number/ Person Number
Password: If DOB is 1991/09/28 you enter in 910928

Once you have logged on, select ‘Student Centre’, look at your ‘To do’ list and click ‘Manage Documents’

Remember to save your documents and name them correctly as you can only upload them once against a particular category

Please take note that the uploaded documents would reflect as ‘Not verified‘ on your profile, until they have been verified by the Admissions Office, once that has been completed your documents will then reflect as “Electronic”.

Should your application be successful we would require the duly certified copies of all your academic qualifications to be submitted to the Student Enrolment Centre in hard copy before you can accept the offer online and proceed with registration

Due to the large number of applications we are unable to consider any e-mailed documents, you are therefore advised to use the Self Service Portal for submitted the required documentation.
