Mature Age Applicants - These refer to Pre 2008 matric and international applicants who meet mature age requirements based on their school leaving certificates, i.e. applicants who have not passed the pre 2008 matric with exemption and foreign applicants who do not qualify for a complete/foreign conditional exemption. If 23 years and above, applicants may be eligible to apply on the grounds of mature age exemption to the Humanities faculty (except BA Law).  Such applicants may be required to write a selection test (NBT), if no tertiary studies have been pursued.
