Wits Student Call Centre

The Student Call Centre provides a telephonic and electronic service on student related enquiries.

How is our service?

Admissions - I am not eligible for the degree/plan I have selected because of my high school subject choices, what are my options?

Melody Engelbrecht -

If you are in Grade 11 or younger, there is still an opportunity to change your subject choices. Should you wish to do this, please consult your high school guidance counsellor and the other relevant people.

If you are in Matric, there is no longer the opportunity to change your subject choice at high school. In this case you may need to reconsider your career choice.
You may consult the Student Enrolment Centre Admission Consultants who would be able to advise you on your career choices at no cost to yourself.

Please contact the Admission Consultants on +27(0)11 717 1888

Should you wish to have more in-depth testing done, then you may contact the Counselling and Career Development Unit (CCDU) at the University, who would be able provide you with various services and testing methods.

Please note however that there are costs associated with these services, kindly enquire as to what these costs are before engaging in any testing. Please visit the CCDU webpage @ http://www.wits.ac.za/ccdu for more information in this regard.
